Anthony Abbate is a licensed architect and professor of architecture with over 30 years of experience in practice, teaching and research through design.  His core philosophy is "making as thinking" whereby knowledge is generated by doing.  His father, a 5th generation stone mason, instilled in him the idea of finding truth through work. His architecture is woven into the landscape and informed by the climate, together forming the foundational framework of the human niche in the environment we occupy.
